Robo E4: Z-Axis Go Home Error

If you are receiving this error message on a brand new printer, please make sure you have removed the four screws holding the build plate in place that were placed there for safe transport. Removing the four screws shown in the diagram below should eliminate this error.

If you are getting this error message on a printer that has previously worked, please make sure no filament is stuck beneath the build plate or on any of the lead screws. They could be preventing the build plate from lowering into a correct “home” position.

With the printer turned off, you should be able to manually slide the whole build plate up to be able to check under it for loose filament.
