Follow along with this video to correct a wobbly extruder assembly. Important! If your extruder is wobbly, DO NOT try to calibrate it, home it, or send a print before fixing the wobble!
Instructions:
If your Robo E4 Pro extruder assembly is wobbly and can be wiggled around by hand or is noticeable during printer movement, please check the four screws on the bottom back of the extruder assembly to make sure they are tight.
If they are, open the extruder assembly housing. To do so, first, unload filament. Then, loosen the one screw on the left and the two on the right. You can then pull the housing forward and off.
With it removed, check on two silver screws inside that area. Make sure they are installed and in place.
This should stop any future wiggling.
However, sometimes the wobbling will have damaged the extruder circuit board. If you are experiencing any issues where your printer is not able to home or do the manual "Move" ability in all 4 directions, you may need to Replace the Circuit Board in the Extruder Assembly. Reach out to us with your serial number if this is the case so we can check on your printer warranty and see about getting you a replacement circuit board.
