This video shows how to replace the circuit board found inside the extruder assembly on your Robo E4 Pro. You may need to replace this part if the limit switches or movement of your 3D printer are not working as expected.
- Remove the extruder assembly cover by unloading filament and loosening the two set screws on the right and the one on the left.
- Carefully cut the two zip-ties at the top holding all the wires in place.
- Label all wires with different color indicators.
- TAKE A PHOTO so you know where each color indicator needs to go back.
- Disconnect the ribbon at the back carefully by pressing on the two buttons on either side of it.
- Unplug all wires carefully using needle nose pliers. Only pull by the plastic, not the wire itself.
- Unscrew the two screws at the back of the circuit board and remove the board.
- Replace with your new one.
- Re-plug all wires and cables in their original locations.
- Re-secure the wires using small zip ties if available.
- Return the extruder cover and secure using the set screws.
