This video walks you through replacing the extruder circuit board on your Robo E3 Pro. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver, an Allen wrench, a scraper, needle-nose pliers, and a very small flathead screwdriver like you might find in a glasses repair kit.
Overview:
Power off
Remove extruder cover
Unplug all wires inside the extruder, making sure you never pull from the wires. Only use the plastic connectors:
To separate the ribbon cable, insert the scraper between the adhesive and the metal plate.
To detach the two white wires, use the small flathead screwdriver to loosen the set screws until you can pull the wires out.
Remove the z-axis sensor from in front of the circuit board.
Detach the circuit board by loosening the three black screws until it separates from the metal backing plate.
Reassemble in the reverse order.
