Access Control will allow you to password protect your printer. This is helpful in a public environment or whenever you're connected to an insecure network. When accessing the printer through the web dashboard, you will not be able to alter files or run any printer functions unless you're logged in.
Follow this guide to learn how to use Access Control.
Enabling Access Control
1. Navigate to the web dashboard and locate the "System" drop down menu at the top right.
2. Within that menu click "Enable remote access security feature"
The setup wizard will pop up and walk you through the full installation process.
Adding New Users
1. Navigate to your web dashboard.
2. Log in to your admin account.
NOTE: Only admin level users can add other users.
3. Locate the "Settings" button at the top right.
4. In the "Settings" sidebar locate "Access Control."
5. Click "Add User"
6. Create a username and password. Check off the box next to "Admin" if you wish to create another admin account.
NOTE: Only admin accounts can enable/disable Access Control and SSH and access the "Settings" and "System" tab at the top right of the dashboard. Regular active users can only access the printer controls. If you do not tick the "Active" box, that user can log in but not access printer controls.

Toggling SSH
If you are unfamiliar with SSH, it is recommended you keep it disabled (this is its default state). Only Admins can toggle this feature.
1. Navigate to your web dashboard. If Access Control is enabled, please log in to your admin account.
2. Look for "Access Control" under the settings side bar.
3. Under "SSH" you can toggle SSH on or off.
Disabling Access Control
1. Navigate to your web dashboard.
2. Under the "System" tab, click "Disable remote access security feature".
NOTE: This will delete all user profiles and make your printer accessible to anyone on your network.
